Pinned & Tested
Is there anyone who isn’t addicted to Pinterest? I swear it helped me plan our life the past year and a half, everything from our daughter’s graduation, birthday parties, our wedding and of course Christmas. I do not own recipe books anymore except the 1 I write in our weekly recipes in, Pinterest has become my wish board, my organizer, planner, inspiration board etc.
Today I am going to share a couple of pins that I tried and LOVED!
This one, is an adorable wreath (another obsession of mine) that cost me $4 to make and it is SO adorable SO whimsical hanging on my door When I shared my picture on Facebook I got a few curious as well as some really positive responses, I used left over lace from the wedding and purchased 3 “dusters” from the dollar store SO easy, thank you Crafberry Bush for sharing this tutorial!
I LOVE eating clean, feeling healthy, cooking health and I will try any vegetable out there EXCEPT cooked carrots….I can eat them raw, in carrot cake, carrot juice; but there is something about a cooked carrot taste that gags me! When I seen this raw carrot salad with pineapples on Pinterst I saved it in my salads folder 0f course…. Mmmm let me tell you we had no troubles fueling our bodies with this delish treat!!! I edited it to healthified it even more using fresh pineapple and half Greek yogurt, you can get the original recipe over at The Country Cook.
Finally I am now addicted to sweet potatoes, not just for their nutritional value but there sweet taste that combines perfectly with spice, I have fallen in love with this recipe and have made it numerous times since trying it. Cinnamon Chile Roasted Sweet Potatoes from cinnamon spice & everything nice THANK YOU for enabling my sweet potato addiction to pair healthy with another tastey healthy treat I tried and hubby approved this tasty recipe for oven fried pork chops from Living the Gourmet
